Welcome!
We are Christian & Kayla.
Co-founders of Legacy Roots Co.
Based in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, we are pretty crazy about the mountains, hiking, donuts, Cracker Barrel, and Jesus.
We are a family of 9 who believes all families can live peaceful, meaningful, and intentional lives through the chaos and busyness of life.
We teach and equip young Christian families to live out a deeply rooted life at home so that they can leave their greatest legacy.
Over the last 13 years of our marriage, we have experienced our share of mountains and valleys. From years of intense marriage counseling, having seven babies in eleven years, and experiencing several medical emergencies and near-death experiences with our babies (including a long-term NICU baby experience), to going through ministry burnout and running multiple family businesses, we have learned what it means to live a peaceful and unshakable life in Christ… one that can weather the storms and be sustained through the busyness.
We believe that it is our deep roots in Christ and in our character that make us unshakable and unwavering during life’s storms.
All of us can go deeper. And we need others alongside us so we can be successful in doing so.
We are here to be your community (alongside your church) to help you and your family go deeper.

We got married young, at 22 and 23! And are huge proponents of young marriages because we truly grew up together. You can read our story HERE.
We love to travel, especially with our kids! We have taken our babies to Haiti, Germany, and many states around the country. We’ve done three big moves in three years (including two cross-country moves).
We are passionate about food, especially tacos and donuts.
Our favorite day of the week is our Sabbath (rest day)- a day where we intentionally turn off our phones and work and spend 24 hours with our family resting, having fun, and worshipping.
Lastly, we’re always up for a good family dance party in the living room!

Meet Christian Cornish
Christian Cornish, a lifelong Packers fan and baseball enthusiast, is the co-founder and co-owner of Legacy Roots, Co. He loves his wife and family above all else, and he is passionate about supporting families to have deeper roots that will last generations to come. With a background in accounting, finance, and pastoral ministry, Rooted Legacy, Co. is his way to combine all of his strengths to make an impact. Christian especially loves to support husbands and fathers in becoming more deeply rooted so that they can leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. Meet Kayla Cornish
Kayla Cornish, a lover of babies and all things vintage, is the co-founder of Legacy Roots Co. She is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, business and family coach, and former Registered Dietitian. But above all her career endeavors, her favorite thing in life is being wifey to Christian and momma to her babies. She believes that you don’t have to give up the things God has called you to do in order to have a peaceful and slow life.
